The game of Totem Paradox

Totem Paradox will lean heavily on the lore of its world. The journey you are about to embark on with your Totem will lead you to explore the land the survivors are trying to survive, explore the ingenious constructs used to advance humanity once more, and discover the crafting materials needed to improve your Totem.
Who are you?
You are one of the survivors that came into possession of an elemental Totem decades after the apocalypse. As you progress through the story, you accumulate experience which can be used to improve your abilities.
It doesn’t make sense that you would be able to sell yourself on the marketplace, so your account is soulbound using the ERC-6454 standard. Don’t worry; if you wish to buy or sell resources or Totems, you can do that.
What is your Totem?
The elemental Totem (represented by ERC-5773 compliant NFT) is your primary tool for surviving the apocalypse-ravaged world. Each Totem has its own element defining its base characteristics which in turn influence the suitability of the totem on a given quest.
You can nest a Totem into a higher tier Totem, combining their stats and results in a more powerful Totem. Nesting a Totem does not destroy it. It only combines it with another Totem until it is unnested. The nesting of Totems is done according to ERC-6059.
Wait… Crafting?
This is one of the beauties of the Totem Paradox. You can progress through the game solely through crafting. All of the resources needed to craft additional and higher-tier Totems can be obtained through questing and in-game activities, so you only need to buy or secure your first Totem in some way to get started.
What kind of quests can we expect?
Totem Paradox will initially support two types of quests; main storyline quests and side story quests. The main storyline quests will guide you through the world of Totem Paradox, exploring it and providing lore about the apocalypse and the world as it currently is. The side story quests will provide additional stories as well as additional crafting material in order to enrich your journey.
We intend to add more quest types, but this is a story for another day. 😉
